Happy Birthday Jaylen!

Yesterday was my nephew, Jaylen's, 5th birthday. His birthday party was on Saturday. Here are some pictures from the party. Everyone had a great time!

CMA Fest

My mother and I went to the Friday night CMA Fest concert on June 6th. It was a great concert! Here are some of the pictures we took that night. I was really looking forward to seeing Lady Antebellum, and I was definitely not disappointed! They were very good!

Happy Father's Day and some other stuff

For the Father's Day weekend, we visited Clarence's father on Saturday, and the boys and Clarence got to go swimming. The boys had a great time! Unfortunately I don't have any pictures since I didn't have the camera.

Sunday, we had our annual Father's Day cookout. This year it was at Sandi and William's house. My father didn't join us this year, so we visited him later in the afternoon.

Here is a picture I took of the boys with their Daddy. Clarence is definitely a wonderful father, and I am so thankful for him!

Earlier in the month we went to Selmer, TN for Decoration day at Clarence's family cemetery. This was a great opportunity to take pictures of the boys.

Here are some random pictures I have taken in the last couple of weeks.

Catching Up

The boys have been up to so much since my last post. We celebrated Easter with Clarence's family. The children had an Easter egg hunt at Aunt Sandi and Uncle William's house. Other than the chilly temperature, the day was great!

Isaac turned 5 years old on April 10th! I can't believe he's already 5; time flies so quickly! We had his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Everyone (even the adults) seemed to have a great time.

Isaac and Alex received a wonderful gift from their Granny and Granddaddy Parker - Bunkbeds! Clarence and I are very thankful to have these! Isaac was really growing out of the crib mattress on the toddler bed.

Alex was scared to climb to the top bunk until he saw his big brother do it!

Alex likes his bottom bunk though... He's quite comfortable I'd say!

Last week DLES had a Mother's Day luncheon for all of the Pre-K mothers. Thankfully I was able to leave work in order to attend. The children sang songs to all the mothers and gave us two beautiful gifts - a hand made pin and a beautiful photo and poem (this one made me cry!)!

"I Love Yooou"

The most precious Mother's Day gift ever!

That's all for now! Hope you enjoyed!

Snow Day

Isaac was so excited this morning to see snow on the ground. He couldn't wait to go outside! Alex, on the other hand, was not so sure... Here are pictures I took this morning.

It's been a while...

I know it has been a while since my last post. Nothing really exciting has been happening around here. Since Isaac returned to school after Christmas break they have been focusing on safety, and he has learned his address, his parents' names, and we're still working on his phone number. We are so proud that he is learning so much!

Alex is doing really well too. He is starting to talk more and his new favorite word is "awesome". It's so funny! I think he is saying at least one new word every day. This time in his development is so amazing!

Here are a couple of pictures that we have taken in the last month or so.
