Merry Christmas

Our family had a wonderful Christmas and we hope yours did too. Here are some pictures from the last couple of days. It seems like we've been around the world and back and came home with a toy store!

He finally did it!

We have tried to get Isaac to sit in Santa Claus's lap since he was born. Well, I guess the 5th time is the charm! Isaac was very excited to see Santa Claus this year. He told him three times the 4 things he wants for Christmas. It was so cute!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Today is Alex's 2nd Birthday. We had a fun time at Pump It Up! in Mt. Juliet. Here are some pictures from his party. His brother, Isaac, decided to help him open his gifts. This was a good thing since Alex was very distracted by playing with the Lightning McQueen that was on his birthday cake.

Time for a break...

Owl's Hill Nature Center Field Trip

Isaac went on his second field trip with his class at school yesterday. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Moss's classes went to Owl's Hill Nature Center. All of the children had a great time. The trip started with our guide reading a story to the children.

Then we all went on a hayride.

After the hayride we took a hike.

To end the tour guide portion of our trip, all the children got to choose a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

The children ended the field trip with their Harvest Party picnic.

Everyone had a great day!

Fall Fun

Saturday was Lucas's 3rd birthday party. The theme was a Halloween Fall Festival. So in the spirit of good fun, the children were encouraged to wear a costume. Here are just few of the characters that made an appearance on Saturday.

Bob the Builder a.k.a. Lucas

Minnie Mouse a.k.a. Anna
Spiderman a.k.a. Isaac

Isaac had the best time playing with Anna, his "girlfriend".
The children went "trick-or-treating", rode on a hay ride, and decorated Halloween cupcakes. It was an afternoon full of fun!
Thanks Michelle, for the great pictures!

Happy Birthday Camden!

My newest nephew was born today. Camden Michael was born this morning. His mother Kim and he are doing well. I'm sure there will be more pictures to come!

I know the picture is a little dark, but I didn't want the flash to make him close his beautiful eyes.

Congratulations Kim and Mike, he's beautiful!

Nothing But Fun Weekend

Friday was Nothing But Fun Day at Isaac's school. I would compare the activities of the afternoon to a carnival or fall festival. They had different booths where the children could get tattoos, bandages (for fake wounds), temporary hair dye, face painting, etc. Isaac had a great time with his classmates.

Isaac, James Thomas, and Clay

He also enjoyed going down the big inflatable slide!

Another part of our fun weekend was celebrating Pops' 50th birthday! Here are some pictures of the fun afternoon.

He may be an "old fart" (see the socks), but he's a great grandfather! Happy Birthday Pops!

4 going on 14...

This weekend Grammy, Isaac and I went to see High School Musical: The Ice Tour. I was a little surprised to find out how much Isaac enjoys listening to the music in these movies. High School Musical 2 is his favorite. It was a great show; I even enjoyed it!

I think Isaac was a little overwhelmed by all the lights.

He got really excited when his favorite songs were performed.

Here are some random pictures I took of the boys this weekend:

Alex is such a character!

A Day Out with Thomas and Brotherly Love?

The boys, Clarence and I, along with Lucas, Sandi and Grammy rode "Thomas the Tank Engine" on Saturday. This was the first time Alex had ever seen Thomas. He was so excited! Although Isaac had done this before, he seemed to enjoy it as well. Here are some pictures from our day.

Waiting to see Thomas

Thomas has arrived!!!!

Isaac and Alex got Thomas tattoos!

This is the best shot I could get of Alex's!

The boys on the train

After the ride was over. Thanks, Grammy and Grampy, for the tickets to ride Thomas!

I took these pictures this morning. The boys are so cute when they give hugs!
