More Birthday Fun

Today was Alex's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Alex had a great time playing with all his cousins and friends. The adults had a great time too. Thank you to everyone who made Alex's birthday such a great one!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Five years ago today, my doctor delivered another healthy baby boy. The years have simply flown by! In just a few short months he will finish Pre-K and be off to Kindergarten. Now I know why people say don't blink, 'cause when you do, time flies!

Big hugs from Brother!

(And, Isaac didn't even drop the m&ms he had in his cup)

So excited that today is his birthday with his Oreo cookie face and all
Yes, I let him eat cookies for breakfast. :)
Stay tuned for more birthday pictures. Alex is having his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese on Saturday, so there will be lots of pictures to share!

Why is Daddy 1800 miles away?

So, Clarence has been out of town for 5 days now, and the boys told me on the way home how much they are missing him. And, so am I! But, knowing that he is experiencing something this week that few do, makes it a bit easier. Clarence has put a lot of time and hard work into a custom car to take to the SEMA show, and I am so glad that he is getting to be a part of the show experience. For anyone who reads this and knows much about the custom car industry... Clarence met Chip Foose this morning and spoke to him! That's pretty awesome if you ask me! So, as a reminder of what an accomplishment this is, I am including some pictures of Clarence's and the team at Milestone Custom Paint and Body's hard work.

The next couple of pictures are of something that Clarence saw at the show today. A custom, stretch, Toyota Sienna. Pretty darn awesome!

As Clarence put it, this is one van that Dad's wouldn't mind driving... I would have to say I agree! I don't know any children that wouldn't love it too!
Well, we're half way through Daddy's trip. I'm hoping he sees a lot more cool stuff and that the next few days fly by for us at least!

Partying, Trunking and Treating

Well, Halloween is officially over. The boys had a very busy couple of days leading up to Halloween and on the big day itself. Clarence wasn't here for Halloween since he's in Vegas at the SEMA show, but we sent him lots of pictures while we were having fun. The festivities started with Alex's Halloween party at school on Thursday. I was able to get out of the office early and went over to enjoy Alex's party with him.

I think he was really excited I was there. What do you think?
Isaac's Halloween party at school was on Friday, but I was unable to make it this year. On Saturday, we went Trunk or Treating with Nana, Uncle Chris and Aunt Kim and all the cousins. Pops was missing this year too, because he went to Vegas with Clarence for a few days. The boys still had a great time!

On Sunday we started off the night with dinner at my parents' house. After dinner and dessert, the boys changed into their costumes and were raring to go!

After the boys got dressed, we took them over to one house that was decorated in my parents' neighborhood, but it was too early still. They weren't expecting Trick or Treaters yet. So, we headed on over to Grammy and Grampy's neighborhood. There were lots of trick or treaters there by the time we started down their street. At the end of the street is a church that had Trunk or Treat, so Grammy and I took the boys by there too.

We wrapped up our Halloween festivities with a visit to Kelli and Steve's house so the boys could trick or treat with Aiden. Austin didn't wait for us because he's old enough to go off with his own friends. :)

The boys and I had a great Halloween! We missed Daddy, but I'm so glad that he made it to Las Vegas safely. The SEMA show starts tomorrow and I'm sure Clarence will be in heaven with all that car stuff! The guys got the car all finished just in the nick of time. I will post later with pictures of the car they took to the show. I am so proud of them and the large amount of work they completed in such a short amount of time.
It's officially November, so I like to think of it as a month to reflect on all the things I am thankful for. The item mentioned above is my first thing I'm thankful for on my long list of things. I am so thankful that Clarence, his Dad and the whole crew arrived to Las Vegas safely after driving across the country! What are you thankful for?
