More Miscellaneous Monday

This weekend the boys and I visited my parents. These are some pictures I took of them while they were outside playing. They really enjoy rolling and flipping down the hill in Granny and Grandaddy's front yard.
~This one is my favorite~
Alex and his cute chocolate milky face

My first born who is growing up way too fast

I love these boys!

Caught in mid sentence...

Uh oh... looks like a side effect of flipping down the hill

Always roughing each other up!

Granny and Peanut with the boys

Sleepy eyes...

I love his smile! Toothless and all!

So much alike

Fed Up Friday

So, tonight I was supposed to go out to dinner with my girls. The Cheesecake Factory was our destination. I picked Alex up from daycare anAlign Centerd made it home in plenty of time to make it to dinner on time. Then all hell broke loose.

I knew when I left home this morning that something was wrong with our water heater. Clarence said that it was leaking all over the garage and that I need to go ahead and get up (at 5:45 - way before I usually get up!) and take a shower so he could turn the water off. So, I did. But, I didn't really think about it for the rest of the day.

Then, when I got home tonight, he informed me that the water heater needed to be replaced. Great! He didn't have to say it... I knew what was coming... I was not going to be able to make it to dinner! I understand; it would be really difficult to replace the water heater and watch these two...

So now I'm sitting at home watching CSI-NY and waiting for Clarence to get back from his second trip to Lowe's... Oh the exciting life of a wife and mother! No matter how crazy it gets, I wouldn't trade it for anything!

By the way, the girls didn't go to dinner without me! Apparently the wait was over an hour, and I guess it just wouldn't be the same without me... I'd like to think so anyway! :)

Top Two Tuesday: Top 2 Hair Products

Over at http://www.benandtay.blogspot.com/, it's Top Two Tuesday, and today's topic is your top 2 hair products. I don't actually do alot to my hair, but when I do, these are my favorite things:

When I straighten my hair, this is the first thing I put on my hair before I use the flat iron. It's kind of funny that this is this week's topic because my husband was asking me just this weekend how I can straighten my hair without the iron burning my hair. I told him...it's because of this great stuff! My cousin, who is also my hair stylist, introduced me to this product, and I love it! It smells great while it also protects my hair!

And when I can afford it, these two are my other favorite:

Redken All Soft Shampoo

Redken All Soft Conditioner

These two products are great! I can really tell a difference in the way my hair feels and looks after using these two.

We're ready for it to be fall...

This weekend the boys and I spent most of the day on Saturday outside. My car really needed a bath, and since it was just beautiful outside, I decided that it would be a great time to clean it! Clarence was at work, so I made the boys come outside with me. I cleaned the outside and inside of my car, and the boys played and pretended to have a 'camp out' in the front yard. We went inside, though, before it got too hot! Here are some of the pictures I took of the boys.

Alex was listening very well

These two love the peace sign :)

Isaac actually looking a the camera to let me take a picture!

In case you're wondering... His shirt says, 'Real Friends Don't Let Friends Be Packer Fans'. Yes, his daddy is a Chicago Bears fan! :)
