Tis the Season

Most of our Christmas shopping is done and Thanksgiving has passed.  Our Christmas trees are up and Christmas portraits have been made.  It is officially the Christmas season.  Soon I'll be ordering Christmas cards and finishing up the rest of our Christmas shopping.  This time of year flies by so quickly.  2012 will be here before we know it!

love a good picture of the boys with Santa even with Alex's sleepy eyes :)

Happy Birthday Alex!

Today is Alex's 6th birthday!  Clarence and I took off work today so we could spend some special time with Alex.  First we took McDonald's to him for lunch, and after fighting to leave him at school, we went back later and took snack for him and his class.  After snack we took both Isaac and Alex home from school.  When we left the school, we went to Publix so Alex could pick out a dessert for his birthday.  For the most part, it was a great day!  Alex did have a melt down when he opened his birthday present.  While he loves his cowboy boots that we got him, he wanted a toy too.  Oh well, he'll just have to wait until his party on Sunday!  Here are pictures from our day.

On Sunday we'll have Alex's party at Pump It Up.  He can't wait, and I have to say, I'm looking forward to it too! :)
