Happy Valentine's Day!

This has been a great weekend! We started our Valentine's Day celebrations on Thursday night. Clarence and the boys gave me a necklace, earrings and ring from the Open Hearts collection at Kay Jewelers! I was so surprised and thankful!

the ring :) I couldn't get a good picture of the earrings.

On Friday Isaac had a half day of school, so we went to Alex's Valentine's party at his new school. It was really fun to see Alex with his friends. He is growing up so fast! In the couple of weeks that he has been at his new school, we can see a big change in how independent he has become. It makes me miss the days when he was a little baby and needed us!

Then, Friday night, Clarence went to Baptist Hospital to have a sleep study done, and we confirmed what we thought. Clarence has severe sleep apnea and now has a CPAP machine to help him. He said the last two nights of sleep have been the best he's had in years! The boys and I spent the night with my parents on Friday night, and it was fun to spend time with them. Clarence came over there after his study was complete on Saturday morning, and we had a nice big breakfast! Yummy!

Yesterday afternoon we spent time with Kelli and Steve and their boys. Kelli, Isaac and I went shopping, and that was quite an adventure. I don't think Isaac will be going shopping with us again for quite awhile! The only reason he went this time was because he wanted a new pair of shoes. He was so excited about and proud of them that he slept in them last night. Who knew boys could be so excited about a new pair of shoes! Kelli and I got some great bargains too and not too much complaining from our husbands about how long we were gone... Today has been an uneventful day, just what we needed after a busy weekend! Happy Valentine's Day to all! I hope everyone was able to spend time with the ones they love, and if not, I hope you have wonderful memories to fill your heart today!
