I read several blogs of new mothers who post about the milestones and facts about their children at each month of their lives during their first year. So, I decided it would be a good idea to post nine things about Isaac on his birthday. Since it is after 7:20 pm, he is officially nine years old.
- He wears a size L shirt, size 10 pants and size 3.5 shoes. He's over 4 feet tall, and he weighs about 78 pounds.
- Black and red are two of his favorite colors.
- Some of his best buddies are his brother and his six cousins... all who are boys.
- He reads well above his grade level and has read all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books.
- His favorite thing to do outside is ride his bicycle.
- His Nintendo 3DS is his favorite game system.
- He doesn't eat a lot of sweets (like his granddaddy).
- His favorite foods are pizza, chicken, pork chops, steak and macaroni and cheese. His favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.
- He shares a room with his brother.
To celebrate Isaac's birthday this year, we had a birthday party for him on Saturday at Pump It Up. He and his cousins and friends had a great time. Tonight we took Isaac wherever he wanted to go for dinner for his actual birthday, and he wanted to go to Cheddars.

Another year has passed, and my first born is nine years old. I thought eight sounded like such a big number; now he's only one year away from being 10. His last year at a single digit age. Wow.
Next on our celebration agenda will be Clarence and my 10 year wedding anniversary. We met in December 1997 and were married April 20, 2002. Time flies when you're having fun! :)
